My professional specialty is to enter a workplace and use my camera to portray the inhabitants at their best.
That means any kind of workplace, most of which don’t have anything with visual appeal. This might include small dark offices or row after row of cubicles. I’ve worked in labs, factories, and warehouses which are mostly known for their unflattering overhead lighting.
This presents an ongoing creative challenge. It also reminds folks who hire me just why they need my services. That’s because my kind of work isn’t easily replaced by a cell phone camera and a digital filter pack.
Luckily for me, there’s still no app that can instantly make a drab location look compelling.
Someday that will certainly change. When it happens I’m pretty sure I’ll be creating something else with a camera that only an experienced human can produce.
