This is exactly the time of year that I’m grasping at any opportunity to escape the cold of my Missouri home.
Florida is typically first on the list, owing to great light and shirtsleeves temperatures. This session was from a previous January sojourn to St. Petersburg, Florida.
So far this year I’ve already been treated to some great weather on the Pacific side of Mexico along with some warmer than usual days in Los Angeles.
But that didn’t last nearly long enough. Four days ago I found myself plunged into a blizzard when I came back to St. Louis. It was so bad at home that my 36 hour side trip to Cleveland offered a huge temperature improvement.
The good news is I have a new escape scheduled for next week.
