Winter Chill

The last thing I checked as I walked out the door was the temperature. It was 59F which made my decision to wear shorts perfectly sensible.

It was San Diego after all.

The short walk from my hotel to the location was bliss. The last rays of the sun from a warm December day were a perfect antidote to the sub-freezing weather I left back home.

When I met up with the subject, he was bundled up and stamping his feet to keep warm in the shade.

We looked at each other in astonishment. Me with exposed flesh and him with layers of insulation.

The color of the jacket turned out to be just what the portrait needed and we both had the right clothes for a winter chill session.
