Why Here?

When is the right time to pull over and capture a photograph of an unfamiliar landscape?

What makes this the spot?

Will the results be compelling?

As I was rolling out of St. George, Utah earlier this year, I could barely keep the car between the lines because of the scenery.

One spot finally pulled me in. The question “why here?” kept echoing. I knew I was in the right place when the response was, “why not?”
