Visual Victory
“V for victory” is something that I have heard more than a few times.
It’s also a great compositional element when it presents itself.
This portrait session took place in front of a Missouri building that I passed by at least a thousand times over the years. Only when I employed it as a background element did the shape become clear to me.
Even though the architecture wasn’t on my mind, I knew that it was a perfect setting for photography. The location was just steps away from my first house in University City.
The combination of modern and classic really blends well.
