I guess I’ll see for myself if Dusty Tuckness is the greatest of all time.
I don’t know Dusty but the newspaper in Cody, Wyoming thinks pretty highly of him with a big story above the fold.
Mr. Tuckness may or may not be the greatest of all time but he sure has the perfect name for his occupation as a bullfighter. The modern bullfighter doesn’t fight bulls to the death the way the Toreros did in Hemingway’s stories and novels.
These guys have a completely different purpose which involves protecting bull riders.
I’ll find out if the accolades for Dusty are on the money when I see him in action at the Cody Stampede tonight. It will be my second visit to the Stampede. Having the totality of my rodeo experience in Cody is a little like having earned all of my football watching experience at two Super Bowl games.
