That’s a very simple question and if you study this child’s face, you’ll see that the answer isn’t very clear.
A yes or no from a child that age is typically enthusiastic in either direction.
I was enchanted by the way she really put a lot of thought into the matter.
So often in life, we don’t want to reveal our true feelings. We especially don’t want to appear indecisive or not have the right answer at hand. Sometimes I think people would rather jump off a cliff than say, “I don’t know.” As if one can know everything. As if “omnicompetent” is a real thing.
Hurray for a little honesty from an uncorrupted soul.
