The Room Where it Happens

Exactly three years ago, my life was profoundly changed by a work of art.

The September 8, 2015 performance of Hamilton was the greatest thing I’ve seen on any stage at any time in my life. This is not an exaggeration.

Quite frankly, I was stunned that I could be moved so deeply.

The performance I attended contained the original cast in its entirety which makes it particularly special.

Sometimes I think about all the things that had to happen for this masterpiece to even exist, let alone make it to Broadway.

It’s such a miracle and a revelation. It’s a work for the ages. I know there will never be a time in my life when it won’t be playing somewhere.
