The Artist as Art

It’s an unfinished work, still evolving and expanding.

Should it be on display? Of course it should, and it needs to be placed in a prominent place.

The pedestal by the window feels right to me.

This untitled piece is the artist on display. This portrait took place while capturing Christine in her downtown Los Angeles studio and gallery.

It sums up what I’m trying to capture in my traveling documentary photography project called Cross Country Camera.

Like the artists that I’m capturing, this project isn’t fixed in time and place. It’s moving forward at its own pace.

Will it ever be finished? Maybe not, but time will tell.
