Long pants and a heavy cotton shirt won’t be enough to keep you warm on a summer morning in San Francisco. You better bring a jacket if you don’t want to shiver.
This session started on Battery Street and finished at the Embarcadero, with stops along the way to capture different backgrounds.
My subject was a long-time resident and was appropriately attired for the season. I’m no San Francisco tenderfoot so I was also jacketed.
Aside from the brisk air, the session was surprisingly easy. There wasn’t any fog or morning overcast or even a cloud in the sky.
I avoid early morning start times but once in a while, it’s nice to observe a city of note as it wakes up to a new day.
