As I was familiarizing myself with a new neighborhood in Los Angeles, I was reminded to be careful where I walk.
This makes sense no matter where you are but in this part of the world, the silent runnings of electric cars are what you never hear before it’s too late.
As I was crossing Acama Street at Colfax I was surprised at the lack of traffic and near silence of the neighborhood. This is probably due to a holiday weekend getting started. Then out of nowhere, I heard a strange clattering that didn’t register with anything in my memory.
Luckily I was clear of the traffic because this roadster was flying. I had time for three frames before it was gone.
I have no idea what kind of car or even the vintage, but I suspect that it’s at least 90 years old. I wonder if in 2109 there will be any near-100-year-old Teslas delighting surprised pedestrians.
