I’m often asked about how I find just the right spot for a portrait.
The truth is that I don’t find the locations, the locations find me.
Cynics would say that waiting for these gems to appear isn’t repeatable.
That may be true but I have hundreds of examples in my archive in which this very thing happened time and time again.
I’ve also been asked when I’m going to “scale” this process.
That always makes me chuckle because I’m making art, not the next generation hex screw or messaging app.
