Street Studio: London

People always ask me if I have a favorite…..a favorite photo, a favorite location or a favorite subject.

I think it’s exhausting and pointless to play favorites. To do so shortchanges the future because it sets up a false equivalence with the past.

While I don’t have favorites, I do have fond memories and this photo reminds me of a great experience. It wasn’t the session that I’m reminded of but of the incredible lunch beforehand at an Indian restaurant near Paddington Station in London with three of the finest English photographers I’ll ever know.

Ever the optimizer, I made sure to select this session location near the restaurant, as I wouldn’t want to waste a second of socializing with my mates. Besides, there’s no such thing as a suboptimal portrait location anywhere in London.
