Stay in Your Own

When someone tells you to “stay in your own lane” it’s not a driving tip, it’s a power move.

When it’s uttered, your compliance is the expected outcome.

I’m a little too busy and way too old to debate the topic when I hear those words.

However, I have all the time in the world to watch the reaction to my reply that “as an artist, I only travel on unlined roads.”

A lot of people are invited to lock themselves in prisons of obedience that they build themselves.

It doesn’t have to be that way.
