Signal or Noise

I’m sure it seems like fun to put a thought out for the consideration of a stranger or maybe the whole universe.

We all have hopes and dreams of being “discovered” or “recognized” for something that’s special about us.

That’s the longest of long shots.

What artists know is that it’s much better to communicate directly with someone who really wants to hear or see what we have to say.

Finding an audience involves a lot of work. But that’s the kind of work that can be a labor of love.

In short, an artistic journey can be enhanced when there’s a committed audience along for the ride.
