Short North Gothic

Vaguley familiar, yet still different; that sums up the Short North neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio.

To me, it’s like many places that I frequent. Someday soon, it will be a street studio for the creation of my stock photography.

It’s just different enough to be a contrast from what I’m used to. Not in an opposite way, like New Orleans is to Denver or Miami is to Bozeman. this kind of variety is what keeps me on my toes.

On my way out, I spotted the homage to American Gothic. This version isn’t an improvement over the original. It is a part of what keeps the place alive in my mind.
