Other than some poor souls in Nebraska, I grew up in a place farther away from the ocean than most other Americans.
That means my salt water knowledge is subpar at best, except for a few words and phrases picked up here and there.
I know what a sea trial is and what a shakedown cruise intends to accomplish. The past two weeks have been exactly that for my newest camera.
It’s been put to the test and pushed to its limits. The nature of this tiny beast is bigger and more competent than I would have imagined. To say it passed the test is an understatement.
Only a nautical superlative can truly describe how I feel about it.
That means agile and nimble like a fine sailboat. Easy to handle and control under any conditions.
