Seeing The Future

You can’t talk about big business without mentioning fashion. I have come to understand this because someone in the know told me.

This person just earned a college degree in the study of fashion merchandising from an Ohio university known for its program. That’s on top of internships in Korea, Italy, and New York City. In keeping with her family tradition, she graduated early.

Real-world retail experience added to her talent stack.

A well-known apparel company saw in her what I knew all along. They hired her in her last month of college. In a whirlwind of activity, she graduated, moved to a new city, and started her career in a job ideally suited for her skills.

I had no idea in 2009 that this portrait was a clue to the future.
