San Francisco Over/Under
Hills in San Francisco are a fact of life. I can’t seem to get anywhere on foot without walking uphill both ways for every trip.
On my latest session, I started in Union Square and made my way through Chinatown to my destination.
Up and down and up and down and up and down.
Only on the way back did I discover the Stockton Street Tunnel. You’d think after dozens of trips to San Francisco I would have made my way through it at least once.
That shortcut under the hills made a good portion of my walk almost effortless.
I’ll file this in the “better late than never” category.
