Rush Hour in Alameda
It’s easier than you think to be a nonconformist or simply drop out of the rat race. At some point, you’re going to need a permanent address if you want to have insurance for your body or if you want to own your own car. Try as I might, my antiestablishmentarianism still requires a mailbox.
What I don’t have to endure with my lifestyle is traffic. The commute to my office is measured in footsteps, not kilometers.
I’m very adept at avoiding other people’s rush hour too.
When I was planning this session in Alameda, California the subject indicated that an 8:15 a.m. start time would be ideal. I mentioned my aversion to that hour due to congestion. He said that where we were going, it wouldn’t be a problem.
He was right.
