It seems like every artist that I know had trouble fitting in and trying to seem normal.

The reality is that if you’re going to be an artist, get ready for a rocky road. Great artists take their hits, knocks and blows and turn them into fuel for their creative fire.

The portrait above captures the essence of a very resilient artist who is one of the best at turning adversity into art.
