The answers to these questions seem obvious. Yet so often we do the opposite under the guise of expediency or profitability.
When a commercial artist operates in a way that’s selfish or clinical he or she can do everything right on a gig and still not get called back again. That’s because too many artists have a “one and done” mentality instead of a “first of many” mindset.
Having a system in place that injects generosity and care into every phase of a project makes the return engagement a likelihood rather than a possibility.
