Preparing for success.

Pre-production is like an accelerated form of agriculture wherein you prepare the soil, plant the seeds, provide the light and then watch the crop grow.

Commercial photography is like the harvest.

It’s all done in a compressed time frame and when it works as intended, it’s something to behold.

Putting a bunch of kindergarteners together without preparing for a specific outcome with the expectation of great results is way too much uncertainty for me. But putting together a group of kids with all the pre-pro steps accounted for can make for some interesting opportunities.
