Practice Space

Where’s the ideal place for a cowboy poet to hone his craft?

Ol’ Jones of Salina, Kansas prefers the quiet and comfort of his basement. It didn’t take long for me to see why.

The tools of his trade are few but require a good bit of mastery, hence the need for rehearsal.

Before he was a full-time poet, he coached college men in basketball. He was a winning coach and it’s easy to see why. Those three important ingredients make all the difference.

Practice, practice, practice.
