Practice, practice, practice
If you think that a photographer with more than three decades of experience under his belt doesn’t practice anymore you’d be as wrong as you could be. Most career artists will gladly admit that they relish “practice” and do so in a way that it never feels like drudgery or a burden.
Just an hour ago I was walking in the city taking some night shots when I looked up and saw Carnegie Hall a block away.
Only then did it occur to me that I was actually practicing.
For me tonight, the saying was as true as it ever was.
