Point of Convergence
Every experienced photographer has a few tricks and shortcuts to guide or direct a viewer’s eye to a point in the picture. It’s something that’s equal parts art and craft.
Shallow depth of field is a very effective way to make this happen.
Using a background element that is directional will also lead to the same result.
But the best way is to have a subject that is so compelling that it’s impossible to look away.
For this session, I had all of these elements in an abundance that’s still a bit unbelievable to me.
