Photo Monkey
When I started my commercial studio in the late 80s, the barrier to entry was high. Having an inventory or access to expensive specialized photo equipment wasn’t even the biggest obstacle.
Mastery of the craft was the most important component.
For better or for worse, that’s all changed. The technical moat that surrounded every photo studio has been filled in with digital tools that any trained animal can operate.
Being freed from the analog process has been a godsend for me.
It allows me to concentrate what’s in front of the camera instead of the camera itself.
