I try to anticipate a new subject’s questions then address any issues long before our session starts.

Over the years I’ve fine-tuned a pre-production worksheet that covers every aspect of the shoot.

One of the paragraphs is called “wardrobe guidance” and it describes what I consider to be optimal clothing choices. This can go a long way to ensuring success.

Strong patterns and unorthodox layering are two things that I specifically advise against.

As you might imagine, not everyone reads the directions. This fellow didn’t and the outcome of our Creve Coeur, Missouri session turned out just fine.
