I arrived early in New York last Friday afternoon into the majesty of the new Terminal B at LaGuardia. Even though it’s my third waltz since it opened, I’m still electrified when I pass through.
However, the airport is still a work in progress and the punchline gets delivered the minute you exit the terminal.
It’s the same old, same old that’s been made even worse by the construction. Gridlock, noise and confusion has been raised to an unimaginable level.
On my way home today, I was able to experience this strange hospitality in reverse. Being stuck in a long security line with this mocking sign, magnified an annoying situation.
I just wish all the cork-popping would have been saved until completion.
