The busiest day of the week for park attendance is Saturday.
Bryant Park in New York is no exception. When the weekend weather is nice the place is teeming with people who have been enduring days of pent-up demand.
It’s such a great park and combined with an al fresco lunch or just soaking up a little sun on the library steps, it’s simply unbeatable.
But photography sessions on the busiest days aren’t for me. It’s not the people get in my way and it’s not like I’m unwilling to share. It’s just that I want to work where nobody else wants to be at the moment.
More often than not, a Monday or Tuesday for me is like a Saturday for regular folks.
This weekday morning session after rush hour and before lunch was the perfect time to be in the best park in the world.
