More Than Enough

Big advertising photo shoots can involve a infrastructure that looks more like a motion picture set than a stills session.

Sometimes the circumstances require all those hands on deck.

It’s most visible on projects that are simulations of reality. These often bend the truth or at least strain credulity.

I’ve had my share of those gigs. Enough to know that they’re not for me.

Besides, why not just capture the right moments of reality rather than trying to build a copy?

There’s nothing wrong with taking the path of simplicity. A moment between the subject and photographer with just a camera is usually more than enough.
