A section of street in front of my house was recently replaced. The job was executed with military precision. First the demo crew arrived and removed the old work. A separate team was on-sight the next morning for the concrete pour.
The following day, a lone worker showed up to remove the barricades and warning tape.
The job couldn’t have been cleaner.
Except for one little “imperfection” which transformed this public works project into public art.
Hidden in the corner was a little leaf that got stuck in the fresh cement. This modern fossil draws me in every time I get close.
