Meat Mystery

As a birthday gift last year my wife bought us tickets to see Penn & Teller in a live performance in St. Charles, Missouri.

It might be a cliche to say this, but it was magic.

It’s logical to wonder just how they do what they do but knowing the details or the secrets of the tricks would seem to diminish the effect.

To have a break from the hyper-reality of life and have my senses stimulated while my brain was teased was a perfect way to notch another year.

A few months ago I happened upon this thin book. As I came to my senses after reading the title I was about to open it up and start reading when I was overcome with the feeling to put it down.

Something in my gut told me that the mystery of what might be in the book was going to be way better than what was actually in the book.

Would you have done the same thing?
