Locked In, Locked Out

What’s worse, being locked in or locked out?

I innately knew, from an early age, that I was not cut out for the business world. Probably because all of the “business leaders” that I could observe were former athletes and men of a certain height.

Maybe being “locked out” left me no other option than to blaze my own trail.

This portrait got me thinking about locks. Not because they were part of the photograph but because my subject emigrated from a former Soviet republic.

I’m sure she knows better than anyone about being locked in or locked out. I’m also sure that no rusty device is going to keep her from getting her way.
