Limousine desire, motorcycle budget

How much time is lost and how much stress is expended when dealing with a budget based on hope?

If you go into your favorite restaurant and are so delighted with what you’re served that you order more food than you expected, would you tell the manager that those extra items must be comped because it exceeds your budget?

On the other hand, if you go to a vendor with a set amount that you’ll pay, you can probably assume that you’ll end up with a bill for exactly that amount regardless of actual cost. In cases like this, the fish expands to the size of the bowl.

Certain savvy artists have moved to flat rate pricing. This allows an artist to be fairly compensated based on what their clients or customers consume.

When this happens more time can be allocated to creativity and less to the angst of negotiation.

To me that’s a classic win-win.
