Nothing warms the heart of a photographer more than seeing pictures displayed in a reverential way.
I’m not talking about a roped-off museum experience. I’m referring to photographs on display where they can be seen and enjoyed. Nobody loves a gallery experience more than me, but the MoMAs of the world are too few and far between.
When I walked into the kitchen of this home in St. Louis, I knew that I was in the realm of photography fans.
That made my job even easier. It also gave us something to connect with before, during, and after the session.
