I’ll Do It
Every artist knows that when you want something done, there’s only on person to turn to. This is a truism that becomes a three word mantra.
I’ll do it.
I’ll stretch the canvas.
I’ll get the paint.
I’ll climb the ladder.
I’ll clean the studio.
I’ll pay the bills.
I’ll tune out the nonsense that comes with being an artist.
Of course, all of this work takes place after the hardest work is done. I’m talking about dreaming up what is to be created.
Then comes the best part.
I’ll reap the rewards of creative satisfaction.
I was reminded of this when I walked into Cbabi Bayoc’s studio for our photo session. The t-shirt he was wearing said it all.
