If-Then Progression

If you want to create, start.

If you can execute your ideas with regularity, make it a practice.

If the practice persists, pursue mastery.

If mastery is attained, seek out other artists for learning and sharing.

Today I spent the afternoon with a friend who has attained mastery. We walked around the neighborhood where his studio is located in Columbia, South Carolina. While exchanging ideas, we were both observing and taking notice of what was going on in the moment.

Was it just a coincidence that I saw this painted gallery window?

I don’t think so.
