In a city that balances the sacred and profane like no other, New Orleans offers up surprises on every block.
It’s the kind of place that makes my senses tingle every time I visit.
While walking I passed a place called the Krazy Korner, I was going to memorialize it with my kamera. Then I noticed that it was on the corner of Bourbon and St. Peter. I realized that my memory wasn’t going to need a visual reminder.
Later that day, I found some other things that were better suited for my tourist lens.
This Swiss cheese effect of this architectural detail was just the kind of holy artifact I was hoping to find.
