Happy Accident

Stories of scientific discovery tend to focus on “Eureka” moments.

As in, aha!

The reality is a lot different. Big things tend to happen after long slogs peppered with a few important happy accidents.

Creative breakthroughs are similar.

I keep coming back to this session from early 2021. It’s important to me because it was a breakthrough with a camera that I thought I didn’t like.

I forced myself to use it on this session, mostly because I felt like I needed to justify the substantial spend.

It turned out that it was just what I needed.
