Groovy Merry Christmas

Thank goodness I don’t have to work in an office. Double thanks that I don’t have to file TPS reports or deal with bosses that demand them.

I hear they’re awful. Luckily I don’t even know what TPS means.

Being able to swerve corporate-speak and business jargon is a luxury that a lot of people can’t fathom. That’s the upside of being an independent artist.

That doesn’t mean I don’t use acronyms. Mine pertain to the craft and technology of photography. They’re mostly innocuous.

SLR means single-lens reflex.
AF means auto-focus.
TTL means through the lens.

Acronyms about the digital photography process are way more technical and far less interesting.

Sometimes I’ll find an acronym that has no meaning. When that happens, I’ll invent one that fits.

That’s what I did with this picture of an old truck with a holiday wreath.

GMC means Groovy Merry Christmas.
