Green In Nashville

I used to be very picky about rental cars. Now with Uber and Lyft, that habit is broken.

The entire rental is skipped, not just the rental counter.

Last weekend in Nashville I had a whole lot of driving to do. The economical choice was a standard airport car rental. When I got to the pickup area I had the choice between a Dodge Ram or a hybrid Ford sedan.

Knowing that my passengers wouldn’t be keen on climbing up to roll some coal, I chose the sedate sedan. It turned out to be even more sedate than normal.

It was a hybrid.

The car turned out to be great. It was extremely quiet, roomy and the fuel economy was incredible. Other than an oddly shaped trunk, there was nothing but upside.

Upon returning the car I noticed the message of gratitude. Let this post stand as my equally gracious “you’re welcome” reply.
