Grand Central
True to its name, this place is both grand in appearance and central in location. I’m talking about Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.
I have no idea how many photos are taken inside the main concourse or in the cavernous platforms on any given day. I’m sure it’s too many to tally.
Tourists don’t need permission to snap a few photos with their consumer camera or phone.
Pros don’t get the same treatment. Any serious photography inside requires permits and permissions that boggle the mind.
The outer periphery of the station is a different story. The regular NYC rules apply which means that if you don’t have any equipment placed on a sidewalk or street, a permit isn’t required.
This outdoor session incorporated little bits of the building that locals will recognize.
