All the rigamarole to get here was soon forgotten after I started walking around with my camera in hand and my eyes attuned to the sunlight. This natural dose of Vitamin D was just what the doctor ordered.
My flight arrived right on time. The first thing I did when exiting the jetway was to shed my layers and put on some shorts before I picked up my car.
Thirty minutes later I was at the location. An hour after that, I was reviewing another “by the book” session devoid of any glitches.
I used a Nikon D800e which is the flagship of my fleet. It’s big and heavy and delivers a file with resolution that goes on and on. It was paired with my “one and only” 50mm lens and lit each scene with an elderly Speedlight which still does the job.
One down, fifty or sixty more to go.
