Imagine a hotel where the view of the airport is the upside, not the opposite.
The H Hotel at LAX is the best one I’ve ever experienced. It’s practically perfect in every other category too. First of all, I can exit the airport and walk right there without having to battle the awful ground transport.
When I checked in I requested a room with a view and wasn’t disappointed.
Even the more engaged plane spotter needs to eat. I made a walking sojourn to the most famous plane-spotting location where landing aircraft are so low that you can almost touch them.
On the way back I noticed the iconic LAX signs that most people only see through the window of a car or shuttle.
I had just enough time to get a photo before turning my attention and camera to the inbound 787 overhead.
