Fit For A King

My knowledge of monarchs wouldn’t fill a thimble.

However, I’m fascinated by how photographers deal with royals. Earlier this week, I re-read Annie Liebovitz’s book that describes her session with Queen Elizabeth.

Despite time constraints, Annie came away with a truckload of incredible pictures.

The portraits were technically solid and portrayed the subject in a respectful fashion.

It’s a pity that these photographs are so staid, though I’m sure that was exactly what was desired.

Maybe in the future, there will be a successor for Annie to photograph. When that time comes, I found the perfect throne that is fit for a king.
