Every Single Night

If you’re wondering which summer night you can see a rodeo in Cody, Wyoming the answer is simple.

Every single one.

From the first day of June to the last day of August one can see, hear, and smell this sport in person.

Rodeo isn’t the sport of kings. This fact has nothing to do with the participants and everything to do with how Americans feel about monarchs.

The aphorism “skin in the game” most often heard in corporate life has real meaning here.

I found a great vantage point for watching the events and taking photographs. That’s because this one wasn’t my first rodeo. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before the next one.
