Encountering a Puppeteer

If you’re a photographer like me you’re almost certainly keen on meeting a puppeteer. Come to think of it, everyone is probably keen on meeting a puppeteer. It’s such a great performing art.

Today was the day I finally met a puppeteer in person. Her name is Elizabeth and I was pleased that she was happy to meet a photographer. As it turned out she had some urgent questions about camera equipment that I was glad to answer.

We had a great chat about our respective artistic careers and the changes we’ve acclimated to along the way.

If you’re wondering where this chance encounter took place I can tell you that it wasn’t at a performance or at a gallery or in a studio.

We met where all great intersections of life take place.

At the car wash.
