Eclipse Blow-Off

If you like mysterious metalwork, Pittsburgh might be your nirvana.

There’s a mix of mostly old, with a bit of new work thrown in. The remnants of industrial might are everywhere.

Very little is plastic in this company town built of steel.

This plate embedded in a sidewalk must serve a purpose, but it’s not clear to me what that is. There’s nothing nearby to even tresspass.

Mabye someday I’ll find out what purpose an eclipse blow-off serves. Until then, I’ll have to admire the metalwork.
