Custom Playlist

What’s that noise? It’s the car radio!

Wait, don’t you have a phone that’s at least 15 years old? You know, the kind that can stream your custom playlist, podcast, or audiobook.

The last time I programmed a radio preset was about 20 years ago when I got a new Honda. Within a week I had figured out how to remove the dash and plug a cord into the sound system. That cord connected to my original iPod. From that moment on, I was free. An active listener, not a passive one.

Florida artist Andy Saczynski has elevated the custom playlist to an even higher plane. His songs are played through a customized system that’s not just about sound. It’s visual too.

It’s amazing how a few grams of paint applied with a practiced artist’s hand can improve what the ear hears.
